Doula Training

3 Days of FUN!

Training includes:

Time 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time)

All coursework and assessment completion will be required for certification. Refunds will ONLY be available if registration is canceled at least 14 days prior to the training date. There will be no refunds issued after the 14 day window. Participants who can’t attend may transfer their payment to a future class. You will have one year from original training date to attend the new workshop or all fees will be forfeited.

You agree to always work within your scope of practice. Doulas do not offer medical advice and must always refer their clients to their care providers.

  • The Birthing Partner by Penny Simkin (Overview)

  • Doula Workbook (Sent once full payment has been paid)

Additional Requirements BEFORE class: 

Create a resource list of  AT LEAST two of each local providers:

Chiropractors, Lactation Consultant, Massage Therapist, Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga classes, Mental Health Care Providers, Breastfeeding Support Groups, Acupuncturist, Pelvic Floor Therapist. 

Bloodborne Pathogens Training, American Red Cross has an online option.

  • Binding Assessment

  • Marketing and Pricing

Time: 10:00am - 2:00pm

Required Coursework: Send a one page report to this email explaining the benefits and history of the Bengkung Belly Bind.

On the last day of training we will do several wraps. This is a hands-on day. Certification will not be given until you successfully complete binding during our binding assessment.
